The staff and management each year take on the difficult task of choosing an outstanding employee. This year's selection, Cherrie Young exemplifies the qualities of an excellent employee.

Cherrie Young Cherrie began with BWDH in December 1989 and is currently work as a Residential Technician at the CHSCC. Cherrie always shows up with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She goes above and beyond her duties every shift she works.

Cherrie enjoys spending time with the people she serves. The care she provides to the people we serve is phenomenal. Cherrie is kind, compassionate, calm and supportive in very stressful situations.

For her unwavering dedication and gentleness with the people she serves, we are proud to honor Cherrie Young as Blue Water Developmental Housing's Employee of the Year.

We would also like to acknowledge the other nominees for Employee of the Year: Bambi Sigafoose of Children's Home of St. Clair County, Emily Askew of Seneca Home, Stacy Carahan of Springborn Home and Diana Brogan of Oakleaf Home.
